The official word from SAP is, Scheduler Placeholders aren’t very well documented.
However they were able to supply a list of known Placeholders via email.
These are:
%SI_NAME%
%SI_ID%
%SI_OWNER%
%SI_STARTTIME%
%SI_STARTDATE% not documented and unlikely to work, I have tested this placeholder various times and it includes the text %SI_STARTDATE% at the end of the file name
I’m using XIr2 and I don’t think most of these work
Does anyone know of any other way I can name an “instance” dynamically? I would like to be able to run a report 150 times (changing a prompt value for each) at various times of the year for promotional events. I have created a calendar so we’ve got the timing sorted, but it would be nice to generate the reports indicating which week and / or event the instance refers to e.g. the report is called “promotional event report” but the instance should say “Summer event report” or “Week 10”.
I dont mind changing the report each time I just dont want to change 150 schedules. I tried changing the properties in the report but unfortunatly, that doesnt change for the schedules.
