overwriting 6.1a with 6.1b

I had 6.1a FULL CLIENT and DESIGNER in my system. We had a 6.1b test server and when I tried to edit a report in 6.1b, it installed 6.1b WEB CLIENT in my system. After this happened, I lost my 6.1a FULL CLIENT and DESIGNER. If this happens always, then we may have a problem in upgrading our users to 6.1b. Any by pass?

I guess you talking about ZABO of 6.1b, This upgrade is meant for the ZABO users if you have 2- Tier Business Objects or Designer on your machine you are supposed to upgrade using the CD or other location meant for developers rather than the webclient. You better of contact your admin.
