Can i open the document in BO reporter which is created using WebI? If so how can i do that?

Not in version 6, no. You could import / open WQY documents (from version 2) and they would be converted. Version 6 (WID) docs do not seem to be readable in the same way.

Are you using different Business Objects security repositories for Test and Prod? Different WebI Servers for Test and Prod?
