OK Button not activated at the prompts

I have the two prompts for 1) Country 2) State

Users can give value to any of them to generate report. If I give input to the Country prompt and not giving any input to State then OK button is not activated to generate the report

Giving a space in the second prompt “State” would activate the OK button but report is not generated with the values.

On a whole the resolution would be to activate the OK button by giving input for only prompt and generating the report with data to that input.

Please help me a way out.

You should create the condition in such a way that user will enter either % or ALL or * or whatever which means take all the value. If the user enters a value then it will take the value that user entered.

Search on BOB restricting to Business Objects classic category for say “Optional Prompts” without quotes.
