We are having a problem installing Business Objects on some NT machines. An
admin account is required to install B.O. on NT. Certain admin accounts can
install the program but when we try to open Business Objects, it does not
prompt us for a login id. It simply opens Bus Obj. We checked that the
ODBC driver is set up properly to access the repository (in access). Any
other ideas on why we may not be getting the Login Screen?
We were trying to load version 4.1.3 using Redbrick as the backend dB and
MS-Access as the Repository.

Sounds like you do not have the BOMain.key file on the machine. Business
Objects does not know there is a repository, therefore you aren’t getting
the login panel.
Thanks
