New user account BO XI

Please guide me on this.

We have around 15-20 branch-wise Webi folders and groups in CMC.
Now, I want to have a new user created who can access all the folder based reports (including Corporate Dashboards). However, the user should have “read only”, meaning he can view everything, save reports, refresh them, but cannot “edit” or “delete” anything.

Can this be achieved?

Give the View On Demand access on those folders.

Thanks for the reply.

View on Demand works for me. I was able to create new user group/user accordingly.

Things remaining as of now are:

  1. If user right-clicks on any webi etc reports. He is able to see Schedule option. However, I have disabled edit object property so, scheduling fails after run. How can I hide this option for a user group/user?

  2. How to enable infoview preferences i.e. to set the default as Document folder tree when he logins?

  3. Any SAP guide on user/group policies/security?

Its a bit urgent for me as user is waiting on us. Appreciate any help on this.
