I have got to export a Universe into Repository against which a few reports would be scheduled to run thru’ DAS. The users of this Universe are only two. Can I create a new User group / Domain (I am not aware of the exact word here) just for these guys ?
Can someone explain how we go about doing this in SUPERVISOR module ?

Yes you can definitely create a new group and export the universe to this group. Craete the 2 new users under this group. If they already exist elsewhere you will have to “Add” them to the new group. Thats all.

There are a couple of ways you can do this.
-You can set up a new group in Supervisor, add the two users and your Supervisor ID, and export the universe directly to that group. (By exporting directly to the group, you don’t have to worry about disabling for anyone else.)
OR
-You can set up a group in Supervisor, add the two users, export the universe to the same level as your other universes, then disable the universe for all groups but that specific group.
Something to remember, unless you are going to setup a separate DAS for that group, the two IDs have to remain in the group with access to your existing DAS in addition to the new group.
