Moving the ShData folder

Hi folks,

I’m using BO 4.1.3 on W95 clients talking to a Ora8 on NT4 server. This server also contains the ShData folder. We are going to move the server, and change it’s name and IP-address. I know I can change the location of the shared files in the Setup; what I want to know is where BO stores this path on the client. I’m hoping I can distribute a file to all current installations to point them
to the new location instead of running setup on all of them.

It is somewhere in the registry,

“HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\BusinessObjects\BusObj Configuration\General\Directories\Shared Data”
