Modify run of the report

Hi all,
Is there a way to modify the run of the report on different parameters?
the change that required is prior the loading of the required report?

is it an on-demand report where the prompt values can be passed while refreshing data, or a scheduled report?

I guess you might be knowing about user prompts?

you can pass values to a prompt while refreshing report, read more on this here in semantic layer sticky post : FAQ: Designer
