I’m aware that SAP recommends keeping all cluster nodes at the same version of Windows, but are there any actual known issues with doing this? Specifically this would be adding a Windows 2022 node to an existing cluster running Windows 2016. The new node would not be hosting a CMS.
Don’t recall seeing anything specific, nor have I tried doing this. I have kept all of our servers on the same Windows Server release version across the board. We will generally upgrade the OS when we are doing a version upgrade of Business Objects.
The only way I know to tell for sure would be to try it. Let us know how it goes.
