Migration from BO 6.5 to BO XIR2

Hi All,

I couldnot find some good practices for migrating BO 6.5 to BO XI. I searched in the forum, But i couldnot find any steps for migration like where to start and where to end.

Anyone who has done the migration can guide me through migration.

your help is most welcome.

Hi There,
Go to Import Wizard

Give the general supervisor credentials in the source

Select this path for BOMain.Key file

C:\Program Files\Business Objects\BusinessObjects Enterprise 6\LocData

Give the server name, user name and password for destination system

Select the objects what you required.

After the successful migration , you go through this path for log file

C:\BusinessObjects Enterprise 11.5\win32_x86

* Select the help icon in the ImportWizard, you can see the steps in detail*
