merge cells in the header with a break

Hello Comunity !

I have a crosstable.
In the header with Year,
than below Quarter
below Month
and on the left side Dimension 1 and below Dimension 2
Than I have created a break for the Year, this works fine.
See … Picture 1.
But I want to merge the hole year to one cell
See … Picture 2.

2010-M10 2010-M11 2010-M12 totals
d1 1 2 3
d2 4 30 57 91
Sum: 5 30 59 94

How to fix this? Cell merge isn’t working for this.

i don’t think that you can merge crosstab cells. however you could make it appear that way, just put your year in the middle cell and get rid of the borders on each side.

Thanks for your reply !

I found the answer.
It works perfect.

1.) make the year as a break.
2.) to to the preferences on the left side and enable in the breaks area the propertie “Center values across break” .

Thats it .
So easy if you know how … :-).
