I think I need some macros or some other VBA related stuff. I searched but couldnt find anything specific

On my blog I posted how to go about doing this. It's a rather complex process but I put together a "real life" example of how to get your report refreshed, categorized and emailed. Some VB 6.0 knowledge is needed to compile a DLL needed on the server. Also, if it hasn't already been installed, contact BO support for the hotfix mention in the article. More than likely you will need it. I don't want to post the hotfix as I may be getting into a little trouble with BO licensing.

Both work well, but this one uses SMTP as its transfer agent making it more transportable across systems. In Windows, MAPI is generally implemented via Exchange. SMTP is implemented via IIS.
Again, both are good examples, just one works with MAPI and this one works with SMTP.
