Earler about 1 year back in this forum i had got a excel file which had a macro written in it to get all the joins descriptions into the excel format and the re export it…
I am unable to find it now. WOuld be grat if someone could post it or let me know the link where i could get it from.

You can use this utility to document pretty much everything about a universe (including joins). This utility can be used to update object names and descriptions. I guess it could be modified to update joins as well.
