Low Level Security

Hi,

i would like to ask if it is possible to apply low level security if your source is BW query? I already try this when I use SQL as my source. I want to apply security base on user log in maintained.

Are you talking about row level security? If yes it’s applied at universe level thus if you a universe on top of BW yep it’s possible …

@Sebastien Goiffon - yup its row level security. I already done it using RDBMS as source. Do you have an idea doing this using BW query as source?

If you are using SAP BW/BEx queries as the data source then the row-level security belongs in the SAP BW backend and nowhere else IMHO. Use SSO, and the SAP BW row-level security will flow through transparently.
