BusinessObjects Board

Loggin in webi

Hi.

I have created a user without any password.I am able to login in Business Objects but the same login is invalid in webi.

Users with passwords are working perfect in webi.

Has any one tried this.

Thanks in advance.

Did you at least visit the password field in WebI?

Have you setup the same key but as bomain.key on your server node locadta folder ?

Basic question but not specified in your mai.

If yes have started the server after having put the file ?

Hi

well it is working fine with passwords both in thick client and webi. So there is no question of Bomain key.

Only when i want to log in without any passwords it does not work in webi.

What Steve meant is that you should tab or click through the password field before clicking to log in. The workflow would go like this: Enter username. Tab or click inside password box. Then click the login button.

BTW, I have successfully run Webi 6.1.3 with user accounts with no password.

Hi.

Thanks.I am able to log in without password.

But now i have a different problem.I have created a user .I checked it in thick client ,it works fine. But the same does not work in webi, it is taking time .i.e after approximately 5 mins i am able to log in with the same user in webi.

Why is it taking time in webi.?

We are using 6.1b version and our repository is in Oracle.

Any suggestions please.
