We’ve all had or heard of the disappearing value button on lovs right? In the past my pat answer had been to check the ‘allow users to edit’ button. That, for some reason other than simply because it was a CHANGE, usually fixed the problem. I’m told, by another universe creator (I refuse to call us ‘developers’), that it isn’t consistently fixing the problem for him right now. Robert and I were discussing it in the wrong place so this will serve to start up a conversation in the proper place…

Anyone experience anything similiar to the following? With reports with prompts, whenever you hit show values- some reports will just go blank when you hit show list of values. some reports will correctly display the list of values when you hit show values. As far as I can tell, there is nothing different about how I am creating the prompt in BO. These are full client reports which I am trying to open and refresh in WebI. I believe we are running 2.7.1. Hi all, I have a few reoprts, created on FC and refreshed fine on FC, all from the same UNV. The reports contain a few prompts which should invoke LOV from which the users choose values. But, when refreshed on webi, the “values” botton does not show any list and the botton is replaced by a “refresh” botton, which activates nothing if pressed.
