List of Values

I need some help with assigning a personal data set to an object for its
list of values.

I know how to assign a text file to an object in Designer, but when I
display the list of values in Business Objects it doesn’t display the data
from the test file correctly.

The text file looks like this:

0020222456
A123456789
0123123123
AAAAA1234

It displays the following:

20222456 (removes leading zeroes)
(this one doesn’t display because it has an alpha character)
123123123 (removes the leading zero)
(this one doesn’t display becaes it has an alpha character)

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I haven’t seen any replies to the message below – does this mean that there’s

Mirko,

You need to include quotes around the data to import as a text field.

“0020222456”
“A123456789”
“0123123123”
“AAAAA1234”
