List of Objects and corresponding tables in Universe

Hi All,

I am using BO 6.1.3 and I have a Universe with around 70 tables and 350 objects.I don't have access to repository and it is in different place.

I was asked by the client to provide them a excel sheet with object name,class name,table name and column name with conditions in the object.

Is there any way to do this?

Hi Srinath,

You can query to universe tables to get list off all objects, tables etc.

If not check this post. This is for mass update of universe objects. You can use this to just pull the objects and nto to update. You have two macros in the worksheet. So you can just use the first macro I guess its something like “Get…” and you can modify this macro to get the conditions and table names also. I used and modified once to pull objects,descriptions and conditions.

The version you are using dont you have a save as pdf functionality?? If you do I guess you can give your boss the pdf file with the info he asked for. Else the only other way is what raj suggested.
