Link to External Spreadshet

Hello all, I am sorry if this topic already exists. I searched and could not find a solution.

I am using Dashboards 4.2 Sp2 - 2016. I dont really have an SAP backen - just using the Xcelsius style of Excel table.

Is there a way to link to an external spreadsheet, or something in Sharepoint? I have a few different sheets that have good informtion that different people maintain. I have bult a dashboard on all of this data, but it requires me to carfully cut and paste a sheet in order to show updates on a daily basis.

Anything anyone has done wil be helpful.

Have a look at the XML maps connection. I’ve done this successfully in the past.
