Limit LOV's being returned in report

Hello,

This is a relatively straight simple question. How do I limit the LOV that is diplayed back through to the prompt.

I have a universe over the top of an ERP with a record set that is potentially a lot of values that would be returned through the LOV.

In the universe, you can select a few values while associating LOV for a particular object and then after exporting it along with the universe, you can go for ‘Selected Values Only’ while selecting the prompt value for running the report.

Hi,

You can add a filter in the LOV object and over-ride the sql to restrict the returned values.

hi jansi,

i could not limit the LOVs. i checked the option “selected values only”.
still all values i find in the report?

Judia,
Go through this where you can get what you want.

Also, have you selected a limited number of values in the universe for that object? I think you have not.
