I export the data to Excel or Access, there are items without data which appears as #EMPTY.
Is there any way to set-up BO to avoid this word #EMPTY ?
When I export the data to Excel I can easily replace this word by nothing, but when I have to export this data to Access I cannot do the same, and this is and inconvenience.
I have been trying to format the column in BO as a “number”, but without any success, the #EMPTY word continues when data is refreshed.
I’m afraid there is no easy workaround. Instead of exporting directly from the data provider, format a simple report page within the document. You have a lot of control over formatting. The drawback is that you don’t have as many export options. You can use the save as to export to Excel (in v6+), but you may want to export to text (tab-delimited). Then you can import / link the text files as needed.
