Install BOXI R2 on a Windows 2003 Standard Ed. 64 Bits SP2

Hi guys,
I have the following situation. Hope you can give us a hand:

I have a customer that has to install BOXI R2 on a Windows 2003 Standard Ed. 64 Bits SP2. Processor is an AMD 64bits.

By looking at the “supported platforms” documents in BO I see that from SP4 onwards you can install BOXI R2 on the above OS. The problem is that, as far as I know, I need to install SP2 first in order to upgrade after, but SP2 doesn’t support this OS yet.

Can I do a successful fresh installation using BOXI R2 SP4 on this OS instead of installing BOXI R2 SP2 first and then upgrading?

Is there any other option?
