For the first time I have got an opportunity to work independently on a new project of BO , which envolves a design and a implementation phase :
I just want to know from people having experience that how to work in design phase of a project :
how to work out and gather information from client ?
what are the key points where I should stress ?
what is prototype modelling of a universe and a report ?
How to do high level design of the model and what are the pre requisites for it ?
Right now I just know that i have to create universe and set of reports based on a model which I have been supporting , so based on these lines how should i proceed further .
Includes a project plane for developing one universe and a few reports but not the rdbms modelling aspects.
