Incomplete Display of LOV Dialog box

Hello!

I have a user here who cannot see the complete dialog box for a list of values. The window is truncated when she clicks on the values pushbutton. She cannot see a scroll bar on the right side or the bottom of the window in both Business Query and Business Objects 4.1.3 on NT. It is a PC specific problem that a reinstall doesn’t seem to be fixing. She can work fine from another user’s machine, but I would like to find out what is corrupted or missing. Any ideas would be appreciated.

FYI…the problem with the display of the LOV dialog box was a registry setting. In the registry, under HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE…Software…Business Objects… User Prefs there is a key called “Display LOV Dlg”. This key should be deleted and Business Objects will reset the sizing of the dialog.

A quick test to know the problem is with a user preference:

Have a user who does not have the problem on their machine log into BO from the problem person’s machine, and bring up the LOV. If they can see it as it should be displayed, then it is a user preference setting in the registry.
