OK,
In my case, I needed to define in the IDT, the connection driver as MS Excel 2010 or 2007.
2013 & 2016 are not allowed > appears grey when trying to add in the data federator.
Open IDT > Connect to referential > Open Connection > Modify driver > MS Excel 2010 > ODBC Driver
ODBC Config :
Local PC (64bits) (for dev) :
SysWow64 > odbcab32.exe > add system data source > Microsoft Excel Driver (xls, xlsx etc.) > Version Excel v12 and select file & data source name
BO Server (64bits)
System32 > odbcab32.exe > add system data source : Microsoft Excel Driver (xls, xlsx etc.) > Version Excel v12 and select file & data source name
Make sure you have Microsoft Access Database Engine 2010 Redistributable 32 bits installed on local machine even if 64 bits ? For server machine I don’t know ether.
