From the documentation:
In IDT - it is not possible to specify which objects should appear in the FROM clause. There are not advanced features and the option is either on and all filter objects appear in the FROM clause or it is off, none of the filters appear in the FROM Clause. Due to the different architecture of the IDT application this is by design.
Building a unx off a transactional system with left outer joins galore. Filter_In_From is what I need (HAVE TO HAVE!!), but I have to be able to control it and not have it apply to absolutely everything.
Anyone come up with a workaround for this “by design” “feature” that restores/replicates the functionality of Advanced Join Properties in UDT?
