I have linked personal data files with a company universe. I cannot create charts with the information from personal data files, the files are Microsoft excell 2002.
What are my options?

The answer to this question might depend on which version of BusinessObjects you are using. So you might reply with your version information.
However, I might suggest that you try saving your Excel 2002 workbook as an earlier version (say Excel 2000 or Excel 97) and just see if that makes a difference.

In reply, my company is running Business Objects version 5.
My system will only open Excel files in the 2002 version.
I tried removing all formulas from the Excel spread sheet.
I still cannot turn to chart in Business Objects or build a variable as a measure. Thanks
