I tried the site mentioned by Cindy, but I can’t get in. It prompts you for
a password. However, I can get into the site referenced by Darren.

The one I referenced does indeed require a login/password. I’m not sure what
the difference is in the two sites. Perhaps a BO representative will post
that for us. It was easy to obtain access. All I had to do was apply for
one and it was provided within a few days. :slight_smile:

http://tech.busobj.com (a.k.a. http://www.busobj.com) is maintained by US
Tech Support. It used to be the primary reference point for tech notes and
service packs, and you can still download some good stuff from there.

However, Corporate Tech Support took over the responsibility of providing a
customer web site and created http://www.techsupport.businessobjects.com.
You can download tons of tech notes, white papers, service packs… pretty
much everything you might ever need from BusinessObjects. Corporate Tech
Support is working hard on offering many more things through this site,
which will eventually become your only point of entry to BusinessObjects
help.

I book marked this site a long time ago and cannot get to it now either. i use to

Hi, Lauren.

The http://tech.busobj.com site is alive and well. I’ve been able to get to
it all day, even from outside the BO firewall.

They have recently moved the site to another box, so maybe that has
something to do with it (theoretically, however, it shouldn’t matter). Make
sure you try the root site (http://tech.busobj.com) without linking into any
other directories. Maybe your old bookmark is using a directory that’s no
longer there.

Otherwise, try http://204.255.208.80. That’s the server’s IP address and
should always work.

Still cant get the tech.busobj.com to work but the IP address went straight
in.
