how to retrieve the record of selection

Dear ,

i have a Customer table which content of 2000 customer record, now i need to procude a report to management with the following condition of:

  1. customer category = F then retreive the data.
  2. prompty message for management to select different customer record.

problem :

  1. i have only 300 customer record belong to customer category = F, but until the prompty message, every time it show the 2000 customer record of customer name for user to select. How can i retrieve to 300 customer record for user to do the value selection?

You could (if this is all that you would use a customer name LOV for) edit the List Of Values to create a query to bring back just the F category names. Then export this LOV with the universe and you should be OK
