sorry to intrupt you can how can we put condition he data fro example there are 2 uers like sales person and manager if the sales poerson refreshes the report he should be able to c only sales data and if manger refreshes the report he should be able to c the whole data of all the …how it is possible…thanks a ton for replyy…

I find it hard to believe that in 4 minutes between the last post and your own post you read and understood everything there is about row level security.

The implementation is a bit different in XI (for Desktop Intelligence) but the concepts are the same. If you have two people that should see different amounts of data, then row level security is exactly what you should be looking at. Please try reading a bit more and do some experimenting with the options before you dismiss the suggestions so quickly.
