How to open the Universe once deleted

Hi,

I took back up of one Universe, If I open that Universe, I am getting error message the Universe may have been deleted from the CMS. So I want to view the Universe what should I do??..

Don’t delete the universe. Ooops, too late.

In the “old days” you could use a General Supervisor account to open the universe. This applies to version 6.5 and earlier. Once we moved to the CMC that loophole was closed.

I'm getting an error attempting to open an XIR2 universe file from another CMS: "You are not authorized to use this document (FRM 00008). Details: The universe belongs to another CMS. You cannot open it unless you are connected to the same CMS from which it was imported." I've an Oracle 9.2 DB with W2003 server and I'm logged into Designer as Administrator. How do you move universe files from one CMS to another?
