How to open pdf files using jsp

Hi dudes,
I had worked on java and j2ee.i am learning BO and in an interview they had asked a question like how do you open a pdf file using JSP.And Can anyone tell me where can i get the documentation for webi and where exactly JSP is used.Do webi uses any packages or plugins for java?

Do you have access to WebI documentation CD?

Deployment guide has this info.
