How to modify objects in a batch run?

Hi everyone,

I have an xls file, each line defines an object in this format:
Group | sub Group | class | object | type | select | description

And for each object in this file, it exists in the universe, but the description part is not given in the universe. So we have to modify each object, giving the description as in the xls file.

There are many objects in the universe, say, about 10k, and it’s almost impossible to modify each object manually.

Do anybody know any way to implement this automatically?
