How to migrate universe from develope to production database

Hi

Could anyone of you let me know as to what steps are to be followed in order to migrate universe from developement to production database?

Hi priyanka,

Do you have two separate repository databases? If so, import the universe using a general supervisor account from your development repository. Close designer, logon to your production repository and open the universe. When you open the universe you may receive an error stating that the universe connection is not accesible (if the connection names between the two repositories differ). Go into the universe parameters and select the appropriate connection (must be secured) and then export the universe.

If you do not have a general supervisor account import the universe change the connection to a shared connection, select save as and check the save for all users option.
Open the unv in the live repos as change the connection to secure before exporting.
