How to know is BCA alive at the moment?

I’m going to create report for end users which will display their BCA jobs statuses.
Is it possible to know from Repository tables is there Broadcast Agent(s)alive at the moment?
Reporter knows it somehow when user sends document to BCA and warn user if there no BCA online.

Regarding BCA status…besides monitoring performance of BCA through supervisor module (used to admin. BCA) I believe osfind.exe (comes with software) can help locate and give status on system devices/nodes, incl. BCA. HOpe that helps.
