I’m using XI 3.1. Does anyone out there know if it is possible to automatically document the settings in Infoview? Designer has the print function but I’ve not come across any way of doing anything remotely similiar in Infoveiw. What I’d like to do is get the seetings for things like ACLs and what folders/user rights are set. All I have at the moment are screen dumps which you can’t do a lot with.
My apologies if this has already been covered but I’ve failed miserably to find anything useful.
I’m not sure if this is what you are looking for. Either way it is very useful. You will need to make some modifications to the VBA to allow it to work with BOE XI r3.
Thanks for you help and sorry for the delay responding. I had some other urgent work which meant I didn’t have time to explore this further.
However, I’ve looked at both of the suggestions and neither really gives me what I want. I guess I’ll keep looking and hopefully will figure it out eventually.
