How to display months with 0 measure values

Hi All,

My requirement is to show count of claims for past 6 months. Now when I get the data in the report if say April month does not hold any claims it does not show up at all. Pls check below

Month | Claim Count

Mar 200
May 192
Jun 225
Jul 170
Aug 280

Rather I would like to show the April month with 0 claims as below

Month | Claim Count

---

Mar 200
Apr 0
May 192
Jun 225
Jul 170
Aug 280

How can I include data for all months in a crosstab, even if a particular month has no data? One way to do this is to create a second data provider using only the months. Then link (or “merge”) the second data provider (query) with the first data provider. Use the month column from the second data provider in the cross tab. Yes, create in the report the 2nd data provider / query that gives you all needed months. Then merge the 2 queries.
