how to display chart or table based on selecting data?

hi all
i am working on boxir2(desktop intelligence), struguling with below requirement

i have quarter wise data of a perticular year.
while execut the report , if it is fetching single quarter data, the report will display in pie chart format.
other wise (report is fetching more than one quarter), the report will display in tabular format.

how to solve this problem.
pls respond any one asap.

Go through this thread for some idea on how to do things based on user selected data. You did not mention anything like how the selection of quarter is planned… But still, use the logic in that suggested thread with Count function.
