how to define/open ports for BOXIR3.1

Hi,
we just installed boxir3.1 on the windows server. I can not access deski and designer in client machine. I got error message said: Cannot access the repository. (USR0013). detail is [repo_proxy 13] SessionFacade::openSessionLogon with user info has failed(Transport error: Communication failure.(FWM 00001)
(hr=#0x80042a01).
I search around and found it may be the firewall issue and also someone said we need to open at least 5 ports (2 for cms ,1 for input file, 1 for outfile and 1 for database?). Could anyone so kind let me know the DETAIL how many ports we need to open/define and how/where to define/open the ports (I just found 1 port for CMS 6400 was opened)? Please, please, please

Using Designer outside Firewall

I’ve installed designer and other client tools on a machine outside firewall. Does anybody know what needs to be done to allow for successful logon…ports, etc. I’m able to remote desktop to the BO Server by using the external IP address. From inside the firewall I cannot logon while using the external IP as the System name, but it works using the interal IP address. Thanks in advance! Skeygo (BOB member since 2006-12-01)
