How to create a report of failed reports at a certain time

Hello, I am looking for way to create a report showing the failed reports at a certain time each day. I am working on BO XI R2. Just an FYI I am an administrator not a developer so I do not know how to create crystal reports. Any guidance or suggestions would be helpful. Thank you.

Is there a query I can use instead of using auditing? Our auditing has never been setup.

No, because without auditing switched on you won’t have the data stored anywhere!

If the reports in question are scheduled, see this article: https://bobj-board.org/t/111635. This is a handy utility I use daily to monitor all our environments.

Well I have had our report developers look at the auditing. It is turned on and they have tried figuring out how to get a report just on failed reports at a certain time during the day without any luck. Also, the canned report which shows info on jobs doesn’t run correct info either. We have tried query builder too and that looks good but you can’t output the list or schedule it so that is no good. Do you have any query or information on how to make a report to report on failed jobs? Thanks for any other clues/info. This is a lot harder than I thought.

These ideas are good but I have not seen anything that myself and others are looking for. A way to get a list of failed instances emailed daily at a cetain time. Currently I have to login to the website and open instance manager. Search for failed reports. Screenshot the list and email it to my group. If there is an automated way to do this I have not seen it yet. Any ideas anyone? Thanks.
