Is there anybody to tell me how to configure a DAS for 30 users. The DAS will be a PC Pentium II 400 Mhz but how many RAM memory ?

You need 32 MEG for the DOcument Agent server and 8MG for each task i.e. for 4 tasks you will need 32 + (8 * 4) = 64.

In addition to other responses, here is our configuration:
Two Pentium Pro 200 Dedicated servers (identical configurations):
Compaq single processor
NT 4.0
BO Version 4.1.2 with CSP 11.
256 MB Memory
9 GB SCSI Hard disk
Sybase 11 repository
One runs in “Primary Mode”, while second runs in “Console Mode” as a hot backup. The secondary server will pick up the processing with 30 minutes of the primary failing (which happens very rarely).
Running 4.1.2 with CSP 11 on the DAS server. We are still on this release due to some earlier reported problems with 4.1.3, which I believe have been resolved. All desktops are on 4.1.3.
(The CSP 11 was a BO fix to resolve Sybase Open Client middleware memory leaks).
Very reliable since CSP 11 was installed. We usually reboot each server ever week “just to be safe”.
