Hi guys,
I has been asked to define a methodoly in our organization to ensure the consistency of reports (mainly webi docs) across patches and migrations. Despite that we avoid to install pacthes frequently it becomes sometimes unavoidable due to the new enhancements included in some services packs (e.g: SP6) or new releases (4.1 release). In addition, It will be also useful to us to verify which is the impact of universe layer changes on exististing reports (e.g: change of universe settings)
In the past I was used to use products provided by the same vendor (e.g¨: Microstrategy Integrity Manager) for performing this task, but as far as I know SAP BO does not include any product delivering this functionality in its current portfolio. My question is double:

Which methodology do you use in your company for ensure report consistency between 2 SAP BI platforms ?

Do you have any experience using third-party tools with this purpose. If yes, which tools would you recommend?
