How do I edit an existing Context?

I’m new to the Designer module of Business Objects 4.1.2 for WinNT. (But familiar with 3.1 for SunOS). How can I edit an existing Context? I see how to insert a new one and I see the help window that says “Context Properties command (Edit menu)” but I don’t see how to get there. If I interpret “Edit menu” as the Designer Edit pull down my choices don’t show anything about contexts. I’ve also looked in Chapter 6 of the Designer’s Guide without sheeding a light on the matter. Any suggstions?

Thanks,

Steven,

Choose View → List Mode and you should be able to see the contexts in your window structure.
Then double-click the one you want to edit.

Steven,

How can I edit an existing Context? I see how to insert a new one and
I see the > help window that says “Context Properties command (Edit menu)” but I don’t
see how to get there.

First, make sure you are in “list-mode” via View, List-mode or this <<…>> button.
Then, just double-click on the name of the context you want to edit. Or click once and use Edit, context properties. (The choice is only there AFTER you select a context, the menu is context-sensitive). You can now select and de-select the joins by ctrl+click. A mistake that is often made by starters is that they try to do this in the list-box itself. (Clicking once on the context and selecting and de-selecting joins in the middle part.)

Good luck,
