How do I copy a data provider from one report to another?

Hi!

I’m sorry, but I’m really stumped on this. How do you copy a data provider from one Business Objects 6.5 report to another? I know I can copy a SQL statement and paste it in, but that doesn’t seem right.

Any suggestions?

Also, when I try to remove a data provider and call it up in ‘View’ or “Definition,” the ‘delete’ button is grayed out, but I’m not sure why. Is there some reason why I might not be able to delete a data provider?

I could sure use a little help here.

Here is a utility available in BOB Download. This utility will also copy named report variables and their formulas between documents.
