I ran into similar problems with B.O and some reports. What I actually did was to take out reports which could really run as batch reports (about 100) and ran them through a product called InfoReports by Platinum. This totally elliminated problems faced by our users and the output is PDF format. This took care of huge problems we were coming across which was to involved to do a work around using B.O. Since InfoReports has a UNIX server (exe) these reports run really quick. We still have some issues with our existing B.O. reports but they are primarily performance, which there is little for me to do to help this right now.
hope this helps,
joe

It’s a well known fact that the WebIntelligence reports lack important functions:
Multi data provider
Multi tab
Multiblock structure
Alerters and ranking
Create user variables
Change the default report style
Etc…
Im wondering if its possible access to the datawarehouse with WebI & Infoview.
How can the users work with these limitations?
How should I mix the use of WebI reports, Full Client Reports with Infoview and Full Client Reports with Business Objects.
How can I design a clear strategy to access to the datawarehouse through the web?
Which licenses will I need for each site?
1 InfoView
1 Reporter WebI
1 Explorer WebI
1 Reporter BO
1 Explorer BO
Somebody has any other comment about if it’s necesary to mix Business Object Full Client and WebIntellice, and which kind of licenses I’ll have to purchase?
