What exactly do you mean by “hierarchies” ?
Without this knowledge, I will go ahead and say that XI3.x security is fairly complete and accommodates myriad permission and access level matrices: almost anything’s possible, as they say.

It’s an excellent reference for the practical uses of the security model.

Woops - I somewhat misguided you there in my zealousness to sort your issue out.
I’m not sure if what you’re describing is possible - but perhaps someone in the Designer forum may have a more useful answer. I’m curious as well.

You could look at row level restrictions, table mapping, or restricted objects / class to do this, DB or universe.
