Hide ‘Favorites’ for all users except for one group

Hello,

My company wants to hide in InfoView the folder ‘Home – My Folders – Favorites’ for the group everyone except for users in the group RD_xxxx.

I’ve done the following:
In CMS:
Home > BusinessObjects Enterprise Applications > InfoView > Advanced Rights:

Rights for ‘View the favorites folder’

Everyone: Explicitly Denied
RD_xxxx: Explicitly Granted

“Everyone” will inherit rights from its parent groups and “RD xxxx” will inherit rights from its parent groups are not market.

When I logon to InfoView only as member of the group ‘Everyone’ I do not see the Favorites folder. So that’s what I want. But when I logon as member of ‘Everyone’ + ‘RD_xxxx’ I even do not see the favorites folder. In our environment are all users member off the group ‘Everyone’ that’s why I am testing this as member of both groups. I thought that as a member of both groups I would see the ‘Favorites’ folder

Did I make a mistake? Do I miss something?
I hope someone can help me out of this.

If you explictly denied something for the Everyone group, all your user including the administrators themselves will be affected.

You should setup this right to not specified for Everyone, expliclty granted fro Administrators and RD group.
