Help - Using the @prompt command

I have added a conditional filter in my universe that will prompt the user for 2 date ranges ie Enter start date …, Enter end date …

When I create a report based on the universe and apply the above filter, my prompt displays as follows:

Enter end date …

Enter start date …

Ideally, I want the start date to be displayed first before the end date with the cursor on the startdate field ready for input.

Any ideas how I can do this?

Thanks

This has been discussed many times before.

The way I usually deal with this scenario is to prefix the prompt name with a number, ie, 1) Enter Start Date; 2) Enter End Date. The prompts will now appear in the order you desire.

Prompts are always sorted alphabetically.
But in WebI v6 you can apply an independent sort order to prompts.

Please, take a look at the FAQ first, such as this post in FAQ Reporter

Just to clarify, if the prompts (filters) are created in the universe you can not control the order that they appear in a Webi v6 report. You can only sort if the prompts are created in the report. In Webi V6 the prompt order is random they are not alpha. This is a bug.
