Hello everyone.

Setup: BO 4.1.4/Oracle 8.04/Net8
DAS as a NT Service.

Scenario:
We had problems with our Oracle instance (Security/Document domains);
after we bring the instance up again and try to send documents to DAS
we get the message
‘Document Agent Server “serverrname” is not Online.
Do you still want to send the document?’.
I have to reboot the DAS machine for things to get running again.

Is this normal?

Pretty normal. If your database goes down, you probably need to recycle the
service in order for it to successfully reconnect to the security domain.
